FINANCIALLY SPEAKING....

With only 2 months left to go in our fiscal year, we are in great shape by finishing January 2007 in the black.

Net Income : $14,315.48 (Not a Typo =:)

Cash and Assets: $261,948.53

On the income side, we are anticipating $10,000 from a trust setup and left to us by Mr. and Mrs. John Coffey. We are also waiting on $26,000 of open invoices. Most of which are from our Super Bowl Party.

On the expense side, we are over budget $4,912. Due largley in part to unexpected maintenance costs, i.e. Repair of A/C unit, replacement of water heater, and waxing of the gymnasium floor.

Finance Committee: Kurt Hanus, Chair; Glenn Ross; Mary McCune; Karol Kvorka

If you would like to be part of the Finance Committee or would like more information on January's Finances, please contact Joseph.

A NOTE FROM DEVELOPMENT....

Super Bowl Party raises $15,857 for youth development programs!

Although the total profit fell short of the budgeted $20,000, the event was well attended by the Board of Directors and community supporters. The perception, by many who attended, was that this was “another successful event!” Many thanks to our Sponsors: Spartan Motors (Dave Eder), Loomis Ewert Parsley Davis & Gotting (Jack Davis), and Foster Swift Collins & Smith (Philip Hamilton) and to Jordan Sutton, chairperson.

Green Sweep:

They will send you all of the necessary return envelopes and boxes! It doesn’t cost you a penny and it raises hundreds of dollars for the Boys & Girls Club of Lansing each year!

Save the Date:
