Our Teen Center is dedicated to those club members ages 13 - 17. The room provides teens with a safe and positive enviroment. Activites provided in the room target challenges that face our teens today.

Model Rocketry

Introduces club members to math, science, physics, measurement, engineering, aeronautics, and team work. Incorporates building and launching small rockets. This group meets daily throughout the summer program.

Chess

Promotes chess as an activity and a sport that enhances analytical skills, prioritization, patience, and critical thinking.

Music Appreciation

A discussion and writing group that concentrates on the social and cultural influences of music.

Creative and Non-fiction Writing

Encourages participents to realize their potential to compose poetry, prose, music lyrics, essays, articles, and opinion editorials.
