Power Hour: Ages 7 – 12
Everyday from 3:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. Homework help is offered in the Computer Learning Center. Additional volunteers will be able to sit one-on-one with Club members to help them with their homework. If Club members do not have homework, additional educational activities will be available to help them during Power Hour. These activities range from worksheets and table games, to online computer activities.
Let’s Eat & Learn – Nutrition Class: Ages 7 – 12
On Wednesday’s at 5:00 p.m., club members will be able to learn about healthy eating as well as nutritional facts. This is a hands on learning and eating activity.
Spelling Bee: Ages 7 – 12
Spelling Bee is an activity provided for Club member’s ages 7 – 12. They study words in their grade level, then once a month there is a Spelling Bee challenge for Club members to win prizes.
MyFuture.net: Ages 7 – 12
A website to help Club members understand the safety when on-line. As well as Computer Programing, Media Making, Digital Literacy, Visual Arts, and Leadership. Club members are able to play a variety of games and create their own profile.
Goals 4 Graduation: Ages 7 – 12
We focus on ways to support our kids to do well in school. We collect Report Cards, talk to teachers, and give general guidance. We find out what Club members are struggling in and help them one-on-one.
CASE Credit Union – Money Matters Program: Ages 7 – 12
Instructed by volunteers from CASE Credit Union, Club members learn about managing money. Most of the activities are hands on games and interactive group lesson planning.
