KEYSTONE CLUB

Keystone Club connects Club members ages 14-17 with leadership development opportunities within our Club sites and throughout the community. Program sessions are focused on three areas: academic success, career preparation, and community service. The goal is to prepare our teens to be good citizens of their communities and role models for younger Club members.

JUNIOR STAFF

The Junior Staff program jumpstarts career exploration and essential job skills training by setting up youth ages 13-18 with entry-level jobs here at the Club. In the role of Junior Staff, youth learn interpersonal skills, work ethic, and the responsibilities required to hold a job. This program is also an excellent introduction to a career in youth or human services and connects them with other opportunities for job shadowing and volunteering in the Lansing community.

AWESOME LITTLE HELPERS

Awesome Little Helpers is a leadership program geared towards ages 7-9. Participants earn community service hours by cleaning and helping around the Club. After completing 10 hours, participants receive a certificate and get their photo taken with the Unit Director. Awesome Little Helpers hold themselves and each other accountable for their actions and share responsibility in keeping their Club clean and safe for everyone.

Character & Leadership PROGRAMS

The Boys & Girls Clubs of Lansing set youth up to be great leaders in their classrooms and in their communities by equipping them with the skills and confidence to stand up for what is right. Our Leadership programs connect Club members with volunteer and job opportunities here on-site and throughout the Lansing area.
