2026 A Night to Remember: Illuminating Futures for Lansing's Kids
What a night. On Thursday, September 24th, nearly 200 friends, supporters, community partners, and Club families came together for our 2026 A Night to Remember: Illuminating Futures. By the end of the evening, we had raised an incredible $120,000 for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Lansing.
That number means so much more than what we raised in one night. It means more meals served, more caring adults in our program spaces, more opportunities for kids to try something new, and more young people growing up knowing there is a community behind them.

This year's event was especially meaningful as we celebrated 20 years of GET City and the role STEAM education has played in helping Club kids see themselves as scientists, engineers, creators, and problem-solvers. Throughout the evening, guests had the opportunity to step into our program spaces and see that work firsthand, meeting our kids and experiencing a small piece of what happens inside our Club every day.
And then came one of the biggest surprises of the night.

Thanks to AT&T, 100 Club kids received brand-new laptops of their own. Watching our kids realize those computers were theirs to take home was a moment we won't soon forget. For them, those laptops represent more than a piece of technology. They are tools for homework, creativity, exploration, and whatever comes next.
We were also proud to present the Morton S. Davis Award to Clean Team USA, recognizing their incredible commitment to the Club and the young people we serve. Partnerships like theirs remind us that this work has never belonged to one organization alone. It takes an entire community choosing to invest in kids.
A night like this doesn't happen without a lot of people behind it. Thank you to our presenting sponsor, Jackson, to every sponsor and donor who made the evening possible, to our Board of Directors, volunteers, staff, community partners, and everyone who helped transform our Club for the night. Most importantly, thank you to our Club kids, who shared their talents, their programs, their stories, and their space with all of us.
To everyone who attended, sponsored, donated, volunteered, or cheered us on from afar: thank you. You helped us raise $120,000, but more importantly, you helped illuminate what is possible when Lansing shows up for its kids.
We can't wait to keep building that future together.
