Our Awesome August 2026 Youths of the Month

Southside - Niveah
Niveah has stood out this month because she actively participates in programs and is always willing to encourage others. When another Club member is feeling sad or left out of a game, she shows kindness by offering caring words, a friendly smile, and helping them feel included. She continues to make good choices and demonstrates a sweet, caring attitude toward others. Her kindness, participation, and positive behavior make her a wonderful role model. We are proud to recognize her as our Youth of the Month! - Ms. Ger

Northside - Silas
Silas has shown wonderful growth throughout the month of August, with his willingness to try new things. He has participated in activities outside of his comfort zone, including trying out baseball and hula hooping. He has become more confident in participating in tournaments as well. It has been wonderful watching Silas grow, build confidence, and enjoy new experiences at the Club. He is always willing to help when someone needs it and comes to the Club with a smile on his face. His positive attitude and willingness to lend a helping hand make him a great part of our Club community. We are very proud of him and excited to recognize him as our Youth of the Month! - Ms. Jacque

Fun Fact: Silas enjoys playing basketball and he hopes to build up the courage and confidence to try out for a team next year.
Westside - Lauryn
Lauryn has really stood out this month through her energy, positivity, and willingness to be involved. She brings excitement into whatever room she is in and is always willing to try something new, talk to someone she does not know, or learn a new game. Her optimism and ability to find the fun in things make her a positive light around the club and someone other members naturally enjoy being around. Lauryn has also stepped up by helping staff with cleaning and setting up programming areas without being asked. She consistently shows appreciation toward the staff and genuinely enjoys being part of the club. Her kindness, positive attitude, and willingness to help make her a great role model for other members. Lauryn shows that being a good Club member is not just about participating, but also about helping others, bringing positive energy, and making the club a better place for everyone. - Mr. John
